Jeremy Pyles, fundador y director de Niche, no pudo encontrar una iluminación ad hoc y moderna para su tienda de artículos para el hogar en el East Village de Nueva York, en 2003. Así, desde sus inicios la marca estadounidense siempre ha sido visionaria en el ámbito creativo y creando a partir de la dificultad, objetos maravillosos. Son las raíces de las lámparas Niche, tres colgantes que aún están ubicados en el exterior de su showroom en la Gran Manzana, y que fueron hechas en conjunto con un soplador de vidrio clásico, convirtiéndose así, en las mejores promocionales de una naciente gran marca de iluminación.
En estas inspiraciones básicas de casa, este año se presentó como la última adición de sus series, Encalmo. Luminarias colgantes de vidrio soplado a mano, creadas mediante la implementación de la técnica veneciana de fusionar dos entidades separadas de vidrio en una sola pieza, Encalmo Grand, Petite & Sconce celebran un diseño sensual y realmente inspirador, en tonalidades transparente de color.

Con el doble vidrio, los colgantes Encalmo Grand & Petite agregarán ese toque artesanal, orgánico, que es necesario en cualquier espacio. This new collection Grand, Petite Pendants + Sconce versions, has renovated the line of products of this brand, that is an expert in glass craftsmanship. Each of its pieces promises to be unique and carefully crafted individually.
The story stems from the ordinary, but it has had quite unusual results. Jeremy Pyles, Niche, founder and director, could not find the proper, modern lighting product for his home showroom in the East Village, New York, in 2003. Right from the start, the American brand has always been visionary when it comes to creativity, conceiving amazing objects from adversity. These three pendant lamps are the foundation of lamps by Niche. They are still placed outside the showroom in the Big Apple and were made with a traditional glassblower, making them the best promotional products of an emerging prominent lighting brand.
This year Niche introduced their latest series: Encalmo, based on these basic inspirations. These hand-blown glass pendant lamps are created using the Venetian technique of fusing two separate glass pieces into one. The Encalmo Grand, Petite & Sconce celebrate a sensuous, inspiring design in several transparent colored tones.

The double glass in Encalmo Grand & Petite pendants adds an organic, artisanal touch, essential in any space. You can mix the two sizes available to create your own installation given the versatility of the silhouette and play with different lighting arrangements.
